Embroidery Designs
These Hildesigns embroidery designs were
originally created by Hilde Lee as hand-guided needle paintings. Needle painting is the art of free form embroidery using the
needle of the sewing machine in the same manner as a painter uses a
brush. Needle painting complements the artistry
of hand embroidery – an art form that has been appreciated since the beginning of recorded history.
Hilde has digitized these designs in the
needle painting style so that the home sewer can duplicate them using today’s modern
computerized sewing machines. Each design is
carefully programmed to retain as much of the hand embroidery artistic look as
possible of the original creation.
Each design has unique features and techniques to create an artistic
mood.
Note: All designs are actual sew-outs on linen. If you do not desire the border or corners of the designs, simply do not
stitch out the last color.
